This is phase two of the yard transformation. Phase one was take down the trees. Phase two is make room for grass, create an entrance by adding a walkway, and backyard appeal.
Baker and Dweezil have a love - hate relationship. Dweezil, who gets no attention at all anymore from me, has opted to take whatever attention she can get from Baker, no matter how annoying it may be. She waits for us in the morning, Baker chases her down, she lets him fall on her, pull her tail, grab her fur. The only time she runs is when he shrieks in glee, knowing that whatever excited pummeling is about to follow cannot be good. Dweezil is not declawed, so I've been pretty alert whenever they're together, but I must say that she has impressed me to never get him back. She will run, but she's not drawn any blood. Yet. :)
Baker loves spaghetti. And the only way to eat it is to be nearly naked, not worry at all about being covered in it, and wearing as much of it as possible. Where did it all go?
Baker has been really walking for a while now - he started a wobbly version of walking about a week after his first birthday when he saw his friend Audrey doing it and he's been getting more sure-footed every day. This weekend, we went to the park and he decided there was a rather steep hill he was going to run down no matter what. He was having so much fun running down this hill that even when he fell, he just laughed so hard. It was hilarious. Here you go!
